All water in Casa Del Milagro is purified through 4 filters:

Power

The house is powered through an integrated system incorporating solar power, batteries, and a propane powered generator.  If not enough solar power is available because it is cloudy or it is night time, the house utilizes the power in the batteries and then switches to the generator.  The switching between systems happens automatically so you won't even notice.  

Using too many appliances or lights simultaneously will also cause the generator to kick in.  While there should be enough fuel for the week, conservation should be exercised.  Remember to turn out the lights as you go out to the beach and only run the heating or the air conditioning when you are home and it is necessary.

The house is a self sufficient oasis in a dry, remote area.  Conserving water and power will help ensure your stay is a pleasant one.
