Casa Del Milagro added electrical power to its operations in 2011.  In addition, the house is a self-contained operation complete with solar power, batteries, back up generator, trucked in propane, and a water desalinization system.  There is plenty of power and water on hand to accommodate a full house but guests should be prudent to conserve where possible.  By no means should the main house have more than 10 guests and the guest house have more than 4 guests at any one time.  It stresses the systems and the house!  We ask that you use energy wisely jas it is both expensive and can be taxing to the systems to leave them on constantly.

Water is provided by a newly installed state-of-the-art desalinization system.  This system provides safe drinking water.  In fact, the quality of the water from the system exceeds the purity standards set by the city of Tucson.  You do not have to bring your own drinking water, but if you want to, that is a fine option.  Don't let the proximity to the ocean fool you; it is hot and dry in the region, so take care to stay hydrated.

The newly updated central air conditioning system insures the main and guest houses are cool.  Please be sure to conserve: if you will be out on the beach all day, it is a good idea to turn off the AC.  It is best to turn off lights when not using them and perhaps forego hair driers, electric shavers, and curlers while in Mexico.  Conscientious use of water will assure enough for your stay so try to avoid extremely long showers.  Please take laundry home to conserve water.  After all, who wants to forego beach time to do laundry!?

If for some reason something runs out or if you have difficulty with the operations, please notify the maid.
