passports or visas are not required for United States citizens. |

At the Mexico border a traffic light turns green or
red on a random basis. If green, you should feel free to proceed into
Mexico without stopping. If red, the
Mexican border police will waive you to the side and ask a few questions. |

Mexican law requires Mexican automobile insurance. It is purchased
at insurance agencies in Tucson, Phoenix, Ajo, and Lukeville. It is
also readily purchased in Why, AZ at either of the two service
stations. |

Do not bring firearms into Mexico. |
